MS
Access. We recommend Microsoft Access for most small e-commerce sites and
other modest database requirements. This is easy to manage, is something you
can update on your own desktop PC, and there are many Access database programmers
available for assistance, including us.
Auto-Index.
If you have a large site and want to add a “search” feature, then auto-indexing
will index your site for searching.

Secure
Server. If you need securely collect information from your visitors, such
as credit card number, then you can have your own secure website or use ours.
Credit
card processing. Your website can automatically process credit cards using
CyberCash. Hosting service does not include cost of programming for credit card
processing (usually part of the shopping cart). Other credit card services are
available on request.
Weekly
statistics report. Weekly statistics reports tells you how many visitors
you had the previous week, where they came from, and what they were looking
at. Advanced report include extra details to fully analyze your customers. Very
sophisticated custom reports – even live reports show your site’s status at
this moment – are also available.
Active
Server Pages. For shopping carts, database access, and other sophisticated
websites, you need programming that does work at the web server. We use Microsoft’s
Active Server Pages (ASP), which is the fastest and most reliable. If you have
a web designer that doesn’t know how to program ASP, we’ll be happy to subcontract
the programming work.

Mail
accounts. Your website comes with one or more mailboxes. These mailboxes
will use your domain name. For example, if your website is www.mycompany.com,
then you could have a mailbox sales@mycompany.com.
MS
SQL Server. For largeor
sophisticated database applications, we use Microsoft SQL Server. This requires
advanced expertise to build and administer, but it is better suited for a busy
database website than MS Access.
